Death Becomes Her
Death by far is one of the topics that i rarely discuss with anybody. Its a soft subject for me. To some people it might be ok to dish out all the gory details of how a person died or what its state was after it died...actually, im one of them. But im trying to be honest here..and i can honestly say that i feel a bit uncomfortable talking about it.
Today was something else. Ok, so the first version of this story was this one: There was a guy and a girl (Ill call the girl D the guy S). Apparently, they were a couple. D was the Executive Manager of the McDonalds beside La Salle and S was the same thing only in another McDo. After that, S approached the counter where D working and suddenly shot D twice. Obviously, everyone panicked and ran out of the place as quickly as possible. Now if youre an ordinary person, chances are, youd be in shock. Well, he wasnt. He was thinking "clearly" to the point na he went up to the roofdeck (and out of frustration for the loss of his girl and out of confusion as well) and shoots himself in the head. The girl didnt make it to the hospital. She died while she was being taken to the Sanctuario.
Pretty scary huh? I actually saw the blood and all cuz from the third floor of the LS building, you could see the roofdeck of Mcdo. There were a lot of people: media, police, Crew people and SOCO. Its a pretty huge thing in that area since its near a major university and the lives of a lot of Lassalians would be at stake if the incident a while ago got out of hand. Cherry told me that the people inside Mcdo were lucky. If the S was in a really bad mood, she would'nt be the only death that the people would be crying for. He could've shot all the other people that were INSIDE the store. I mean, think about it. It would look something like the Columbine high incident in the states where a lot of students (and teachers) died after they were being held hostage. GRABE NO? The people were lucky. Really Lucky.
The real scoop was that D and S were in a meeting. S was being scolded and D was promoted (i think) or something like that. Obviously that pissed S off sooooo bad. He got jealous and shot D twice. Everything went blank for her after that.
To all my friends reading this:
Please be careful. Our world is not a safe place to be in anymore. We think nothing too drastic will happen to us since we are sheltered and protected--even in school. But thats what we think. We tend to belittle everything around us and shrug it off. But thats sooo wrong. We should be aware of whats happening around us, good or bad. We'll never know...we might be in the same situation as that of D. If you were in her position, what would you have done?
